Abu Dhabi, UAE, July 5,
2009: The Management of Dubai Statistics Center realized that in order to monitor their
operations they needed an intelligent Surveillance System to monitor and
control their day to day activities.
Emirates Net successfully commissioned the CCTV system at DSC at Academic City, Dubai.
The system designed for the protection of valuable data that is collected from all over the UAE,
the entire area of the DSC is covered with day/night cameras and is monitored remotely
by officers connected to the system.
The system is a totally on an independent network.
The camera selected for this implementation is based on IP and powered remotely from a POE switch.
This was a very cost effective solution provided for this semi-government project.
Dubai Statistics Center specializes in the construction of a modern and comprehensive statistical
system and shall be the only official source for the collection, analysis and publication of statistical
information and data in the Emirate adopting harmonized methodological international standards in the collection,
analysis, and dissemination of statistical data
